During this versatile Etching course, you will be working from a live still life to create a collage style Collagraph plate. Initially you will create drawings from the still life and transfer these ideas to a mount card by either scoring, cutting or tearing. This will generate areas of line, light and shade.
You will also have the opportunity to include textured materials into your print, such as a lace, embossed wallpaper and leaves.
Once your plate has been up you will ink your plate and print on dampened paper using a range of coloured specialist inks.
